Sexual abuse and exploitation permeate the streets of Honduras. This new safe house will provide a place for exploited women and children to escape the horrors they are trapped in and find hope, healing, and restoration through the love and power of God.
DESCRIPTION:
There is currently no safe house in the entire country of Honduras dedicated to the restoration of survivors of sexual exploitation. This home will be the first Project Rescue Safe House in all of Latin America! It will be a safe place for the intervention team to lead victims of sexual abuse and trafficking through a healthy restoration process. This specific location will focus on minors under the age of 18.
BENEFITS:
The new Project Rescue Safe House will provide a safe living environment for girls after they are rescued from the streets. These girls who have experienced so much terror in their young lives will have the opportunity for long-term care in a loving family atmosphere, which will prevent them from being placed in a Honduran orphanage. They will go through a restoration process while receiving professional medical and psychological care and a quality, private education - all of which will set them up for a successful future.
