Many children in Bethlehem are underserved and have limited access to education. The Jerusalem School Bethlehem is meeting this need with excellence, but they are out of space and need a new building to sustain growth for future generations.

DESCRIPTION: 

The Jerusalem School Bethlehem offers a Christian education to students in grades K-12. Classes are currently held in multiple locations, with a significant portion in rented space, which they have far outgrown. The new school will be constructed on land they own, increasing the student population from 800 to 1200. The new facility will house five stories of classrooms all in one location.

BENEFITS: 

Because of the school’s English-teaching curriculum and accreditation status, families in the Bethlehem area seek acceptance into this school. After graduation, students are eligible to continue their education at any university. The majority of the student population are of Palestinian background, creating a vast opportunity to share the love of Jesus with families who are in desperate need of Him. With their own space, the school will be able to accept more students who will have the opportunity to hear the gospel. They will save over $10,000 in monthly rent, finally have access to reliable water, improve relationships with the government, and educate next generation leaders with a Christian-based education.
