Nicaragua is the 2nd poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and has experienced civil unrest for nearly five years. In this season of instability, the Central Bible Institute has a goal to train ministers as part of an effort to plant 2000 new churches in the next 10 years.
DESCRIPTION: The Central Bible Institute is a school without its own building. They have previously rented space at another university in the area. It is a four-year program affiliated with the Nicaraguan Assemblies of God. The new facility has three phases of construction. Phase 1 will be five 4 classrooms, a cafe, and an office space. Phase 2 will include administration and library space. Phase 3 will include an auditorium to host chapel and events.
BENEFITS: Current attendance is maxed out at 50 students. Phase one of construction will make room for 120 students. This will help meet the goal of doubling the amount of churches throughout Nicaragua in the next decade, bringing hope to this nation in the middle of civil unrest.
